Our ESG Lead

We have made it a priority to understand our environmental impact and to employ an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) lead. Our vision for creating this role is to have a better grasp of what Creative is already doing and what we should be looking to do in the future. Our ESG lead will help build on the strong foundations we have already laid out, to drive our commitment to sustainability and ESG principles further

Scope 1 & 2 emissions

As part of our commitment to doing better for the environment, we have first baselined where Creative ITC is in terms of scope 1 & 2 emissions which we have calculated to be 17.69 tCO₂e for 2022. We continue to work hard with our landlords to understand our electricity and gas usage across these buildings and make a commitment to supporting them on their own mission to reduce emissions and use clean energy where possible.

Scope 3 emissions

We are also in the process of understanding our scope 3 emissions and how we can work with all of our stakeholders to reduce these where possible.

Business Travel – Our chosen travel partner is ‘TravelPerk’ which offsets 100% of business travel for an additional fee.

For our staff road travel we use Uber. Both Uber and TravelPerk also provide us with monthly emissions reporting.

Employee Commuting –  We have also distributed a company-wide commuting survey, to get a snapshot of the different ways our employees travel to the office. We found that 65% drive, 25% get the tube or train and 10% use other methods of transport. This data will enable us to identify ways of reducing emissions through commuting and how might be able to incentivise our employees.

The Data Centres we work with – The majority of the data centres we work with are Equinix (https://sustainability.equinix.com/) which currently uses 100% renewable energy to operate.

We are  IS014001 certified which is focused on improving environmental performance and reducing our footprint
